Masala Bollywood

Outside of Grand Central Station

Our friend Carly came to New York today. Carly is Dustin's Fiance. They will be getting married in June. We went shopping this afternoon, and went out to dinner with the boys tonight. We had Indian food at Masala Bollywood. It was delicious and the restaurant was decorated beautifully. I have decided that I should get some authentic Indian head dresses. I love things that sparkle!

And the Slashy Award goes to...

Yep...this guy, the grandpa/leprechaun/Little Bo Peep/Rainbow Bright. I like to call him Daisy. He was just hanging out outside of my office on Broadway today. He's my new pal. Just thought I'd introduce you.

Hurray for Boston

We had a blast in Boston. We did so much in just two days. We drove up on Friday and left on Sunday. The first night we were there we met up with one of Josh's childhood friends. We went to dinner with him and his new fiance. We also went to the Harvard campus. It is a beautiful campus. The buildings have so much character. We loved the city so much Harvard might be considered for grad school. On Saturday morning we went to Quincy Market where we had breakfast and shopped. It was a cute little market place that had food and clothing vendors, and a farmer's market. After the market we did some sight seeing. We stopped by a cemetary that dated back to the early 1700's. A lady that came to the America's on the Mayflower was burried here. How crazy is that, the Mayflower?! We also were lucky enough to see the oldest public building in Boston. In 1776 the Declaration of Independence was read to the people of Boston from the balcony of this building, just a couple of weeks after it was signed. We also saw the North Church from which two lanterns were lit to warn that the British soldiers were coming. We got to see so many historical sights. We were in awe the whole time we were there. We went to dinner at the Barking Crab which was amazing. We had the best fresh seafood ever! I love Boston. It is like a cleaner, quieter, more spacious New York. Thank you Josh for such a great birthday gift!

My new love...The Four Seasons Hotel

There is nothing like the Four Seasons Hotel. We are both completley spoiled now and no other hotel experience will ever compare. Josh took me to Boston for the weekend for my birthday. We enjoyed a huge bed, the beautiful spa, great food and the best service you could ever find. They turn down your bed for you every night and leave your slippers on a towel by the bed. They bring you water and ice at night. You can order breakfast the night before and have it delivered to you in bed for the following morning. You really can't beat the service the Four Seasons provides. I woke up from a nap to chocolate covered strawberries the first day we were there. I love the Four Seasons Hotel!

This is the birthday treat the Four Seasons gave me.

Josh loved th CA King size bed we slept in all week.

Watch this video...I promise you won't regret it.

This lady was hilarious. We went bowling with our good friends Trevor and Marianna last year. We were having a fun but normal bowling experience until we saw this lady. She came in about fifteen minutes after we did, and shortly after she entered this is what we saw. She didn't just do this for the few minutes this song was playing. She did this for 45 minutes! It was awesome. It wasn't a dance party night or anything. She just felt like miving. The whole thing is just wrong. Watch the video and you'll understand.

Our exciting, TROPICAL, friend and food filled weekend!

YAY FOR DUSTY! One of Josh's best friends, Dustin, is now in NYC. He is working for Goldman as well and is here temorarily for training. We were so excited to see him! We haven't done anything social since we have been here so it was a welcome change. We went out to dinner and had the most amazing view from our table.

We found Max Brennar's~it's a chocolate restaurant that is amazing. We had the world's BEST hot chocolate. It kicks Cocoa Cafe's butt. It tasted like the best chocolate you have ever had in your life mixed with cream and butter. We also enjoyed a chocolate peanut butter pizza. We felt like crap after we ate these tasty treats but they were definitely delicious.

We woke up to another gloomy day in the city. We decided that we were sick of the cold weather and clouds so we had a "tropical day." We had a tropical breakfast that consisted of egg quesadillas, fresh salsa, black beans, avocado and kiwi. We enjoyed our breakfast wearing our bathingsuits and listening to the Beach Boys. We wanted tropical day to last all day so we wore sandals (with our down coats).

Every year Macy's has a flower show. We went to see it and it was beautiful. The air inside the store was so fresh and the flower displays were gorgeous. This Macy's is the biggest department store in the world...pretty impressive!

We walked the Brooklyn Bridge to eat at Grimaldi's Pizza. It was the best pizza we have ever had. It was well worth the walk and the wait.

If you can't read this it is Alexander Hamilton's grave. It is about five minutes from where we live at a beautiful church from the 1700's.
