I need opinions

So, given our current circumstance, we are in the market for a stroller. Here are the 3 brands I think I've narrowed it down to and I need onions/thoughts/suggestions, etc:

First of all, we have the Uppababy:

I'm pretty much only looking at the Vista model. Thoughts?

The Bugaboo is also a contender:
But, which is better, the Cameleon or the Frog?

Last, but not least, is the BOB:

I'm not sure which style to go with for the BOB, I've just heard really good things about it, as I have with the other brands. What to do, what to do? If you know anything about strollers, or if you have reviews to give on any of these, please help!

We have a BOB and LOVE it. It really is great. Paul takes the girls out jogging in it all the time. I wish I could say I did it too. We have the revolution. It has the wheel in the front that swivels but It is a double so I am not sure if the model is called the same in te single. Good luck!!

You totally don't know me but I'm a friend of a friend and I check your blog cuz I love your style! Anyways, I wracked my brain trying to find the best stuff for my 8 month old and I found babygizmo.com to be very helpful in narrowing things down. I LOVE my maclaren strollers, we bought the Easy Traveler and now since he's outgrown his infant carseat we use the Techno XLR- which I found on craigslist. These are all VERY useful for me when I want to run small errands. But every baby is different and your needs may be different then mine. And your needs and babies needs change all the time so what you want now may not be what you want when your babe is older. So I've adapted the frame of mind of buying something, trying it out for a week, and if I don't like it take it back! Or if I decide something isn't working for us anymore I sell it on craigslist at a small loss and buy something else with the cash. But to wrap this novel up I'd say look for weight, maneuverability and functionality. Good Luck on the hunt!

BOB is fabulous. As far as running strollers go, it is the best in my opinion. The only thing I don't like is the handle doesn't sdjust low enough for when I run (I like my hands really low). But my friends have no issues with that. As far as style, they're all good. I've owned five different kinds of running strollers (non BOBs) so I've become an expert on what sucks.

Get the BOB!! The other strollers are stylish, but the BOB is really nice and practical. Great quality, very durable, perfect for running, really smooth ride for the baby...

I have the Ironman, which is great for running, jogging and walking. The front wheel doesn't swivel which is great when you're out for a run.

So if you're going to use it more for walking, get the swivel wheel (in any model). If you're going to do more jogging and running long distances, the ironman is great.

I love the BOB as well!! I have the revolution, and it is amazing! It is all terrain, we take it everywhere...jogging, on dirt roads, and shopping. It is the best stroller out there, in my opinion. And you can attach your car seat to it when they are infants! It is perfect for travel!

i just bought a phil & ted w/ a doubles kit. mine came with a bassinet attachment, but i'll never use it because when baby #3 arrives (not baking yet) then baby #2 will most likely still be in the stroller too. ANYWAY, you are free to have my basinet thingy. it's still in the box, you just need ot buy a phil & ted stroller, the sport or the something something.

I say if you are planning on having another kid within the next couple years to get the phil and ted. If not, go with the bob. Just depends also on what you will be mainly using it for. if it is for jogging and walks, go with the Bob. If it is more for running errands, going to the mall, get the phil and ted or a stroller that is not as bulky as the Bob.

COurt- I dont' see you with a Bob- unless you are only using it for a jogging stroller. Eveyday, I love the bugaboo, but the retail lady at the mom store in boulder said that Uppa baby actually has better features. Go in somewhere and test a few out

I ended up getting 3 strollers cause I couldn't decide :) ... a snap and go for the carseat an umbrella stroller and a jogger. I use them all equally and it's nice having options. I have heard great things about the BOB though. The biggest thing for me is the size of the stroller. Some are a pain to get in and out of the car. By the way I will be coming to Brooke's shower next week. I may be late depending on when Hailey gets up from her nap but I will be there. Can't wait!!!

Those all look great. Honestly, I have no idea...I was boring and used the Graco one that fit the baby carseat. I have loved it though, but these look much better.

I would go and try them out. And try for a light-weight option, because it really does get tiring lifting a heavy stroller in and out of the car and house! And you will have a baby to tote along too. :)

You don't know me, but I went to high school with Mari. I love reading your blog and wanted to give my two cents about the stroller. I'm not a mom, but I am a nanny and the family I work for has the BOB. I absolutely love it. The kids LOVE going on walks, so I use it quite often and it's wonderful!

p.s. congratulations!!!

I have tried almost ALL the above and nothing beats the CHariot Carriers! They convert into almost anything too! they have attatchments to become a stroller a bike trailor, cross country skier, hiking attatchments, and more. They come double or single and is by far the BEST investment i have EVER made to keep mommas active with their tots :) Happy Hunting
