And finally...

We got internet!!!! We have lived in this house for a month without internet but yesterday that all changed while I was at work. I am so happy to not have to look things up on my phone anymore. That tiny screen was killing my eyes. We have a lot of blog backtracking to do. I'll start with last night and go from there.

Last night was Alan's 31st birthday party. If anyone knows how to throw a party it's the Ostlers. They have done a white trash party with a slip and slide, chugging contest, Twinkie cake, etc, a casino party with tables and prizes, costume parties, and last night the theme was disco skating. The party was held at Classic Skating which is where we went on our first date almost four years ago. We had an absolute blast finding costumes, getting ready, and at the party with our friends. Josh rocked a Saturday Night Fever getup while I was a fro'd out Disco queen. And yes, that is my real hair.

Cute Cassi and Angie in their gear.

The birthday boy Alan and Cass.

The whole group dressed to impress.

I seriously think my husband was born in the wrong era. He loves roller skating, and is ridiculously good at it. He has some serious moves on the floor and it is so fun to watch. He is really shy so if he catches anyone watching him he stops doing it, but he is seriously impressive! He wouldn't let me get any video of him but there is a 3 second clip at the bottom of some fancy foot work that I was able to get. If any of you want to be entertained, come disco skating with us!

While we were there we ran into our friend Marcus who is a true disco skating fanatic. He has all of his birthday parties at classic skating.

Roller skating makes Josh hungry.

Angie and Josh won the costume contest. Cassi put together little Coke buckets for barbecuing this summer. Oooh how I can't wait for summer BBQs.

When they brought us ice cream there were glow in the dark vampire teeth on each spoon. I loved them, it was so random. I vant to suck your blood.

Alan and his scooter. It was pretty rad.

He got a turn at the prize wheel of fortune and won a laser pen.

Thank you so much Cassi and Alan. We had so much fun! It felt to good so get away from all of this construction and have a fun night out with friends!

Wow Josh really can skate! Who knew? I see why you wanted to marry him after the first date. I mean between his incredible roller skating skilz and the way he rocked the daisy dukes how could any girl resist? Truly impressive Josh. Maybe you could fine a way to make a living at that.
