For Christmas my parents gave me, Linds, and Mari a girl's weekend. We started off with pedicures that were more entertaining than relaxing. We had some very funny moments in those chairs. Later that night we took a hipcooks class and made scallops, rice, and a potato and green bean salad. We had a blast and tried food we never would have dared to before that night. On Saturday we woke up early and went to Santa Barbara for a day of shopping. We had breakfast at this yummy cafe. We shopped all day long! We got everything from bathing suits to dresses to boots. It was fun to have the freedom to get whatever we wanted. Thanks mom and Dad for such a great weekend!
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience." Gordon B. Hinckley, 2006
