We were very lucky to receive a ton of hand-me-down furniture when we got married. Some of these things looked awesome with the finishes they came with, others were a little dated and boring. So I've been a-painting and I'm thrilled with how things are turning out.
Here is my little sister's desk that I still use. It was fine but nothing special:

And now it is AWESOME!

When we move I'll be putting a painted vintage mirror above it and make it into a fantastic vanity. I'm still deciding on a fabric to recover the chair cushion with. I'll post pictures of the finished trio.

I LOVE YOUR DESK..it is so my taste also! What a good job! You are so talented! I am going to Anthropologie and look for knobs for Cailey desk..it's a cute white desk, but boring knobs...maybe I'll post it if I turn it into something special!

Love it! Tyson and I love making over furniture too! And Tyson likes to build it. Kind of crazy...But I'm not sure if I ever thanked you for your running schedule! So THANK YOU! I really like it and I would love to do a long run on one Saturday in the near future. But first I need to get into better shape!

Wow! Jason and I are so impressed! It looks amazing. We have a TON of hand-me-down furniture for our future house and are looking forward to sprucing them up as well.
