Thanksgiving Week

We had an awesome Thanksgiving week. My family came up to the cabin, where we spent most of our time. It is a gorgeous winter wonderland here in Utah right now. The cabin and Sundance in general are magical this time of year. We did a lot of relaxing, eating, and enjoyed our time together.

Lucy with my amazing Grandma Rita, whom I love so dearly.

Chris and Mari met Lucy for the fist time this past week! It was very exciting. Mari stayed with us one night and was able to hold and play with Lucy all morning, which is her best time of day.

My family came into town Monday night and stayed the whole week. Everyone was so excited to see Lucy, I felt like I didn't get to spend any time with her all week. I only got to be with her when it was time for her to eat!

Luke might love Lucy the third most, right behind me and Josh. He adores her so much, it's amazing.

She just cuddled right into him and fell asleep.

We hot tubbed in the negative degree weather. It felt so good to relax in there, but it was so miserable getting out and walking/running to the cabin through the snow. Aaaah, I've never felt cold like that before.

Sweet Lucy on her way to meet Uncle Chris for the first time.

They are naturals, and I can't wait for them to have their own one day.

Cuddling with Grandma Linda before bed.

Napping with my girl.

Linds enjoyed smooching on Lucy and fought off anyone who came within feet of them and looked like they might want a turn with the teeny babe.

Notice Lu holding Lukey's finger, so sweet.

Hanging out in the backyard with Grandpa and Uncle Luke.

One of my favorite things about this age is that her arms don't reach above her head. I think it's just about the cutest thing ever.

Thanksgiving day was spent at Josh's mom's house. A lovely meal was prepared, the kiddies played, the boys watched football, and fun was had by all.

My two true loves:

Lucy's Thanksgiving feast of breast milk made her super sleepy. It's hard being a baby.

Enjoying a good nap on Grandma Bonnie.
