That's right, the time has come for the Alvord family to finally get a gaming console. Josh decided to get a Wii for his birthday. We ran out and got it Friday night. Everyone came over for the grand opening of the Wii.

Then it was our turn. Apparently Brooke and I put our whole bodies into this game. This picture captures it so perfectly.
We won and it had nothing to do with me. I'm horrible at tennis, even when it's video game style.

Now when we all get together after dinner the boys will have something else to do besides watch football. At least this is interactive, right?

Dont you just love the wii!? we never use our. I'm always saying we should it more often but... haha you know how that goes. I got the wii fit and I cant even get it out because then kayden just wants to stand on it and laugh. haha I know what the Alvords really need though....A BABY! haha kidding I would bug you guys about it!

I agree with doing something else besides sports! i cna only handle so much. when do you get back from new york bc we missed out on the grand opening so well have to play it as soon as you get back!
Madison got one for her birthday!! It a fun one for groups of people. She got DDR and it is pretty funny to watch!!! Happy Holidays to you guys and your famillies!!!
at least it's a video game that gets you moving. we got the wwi fit. kind of lame. the yoga is a joke but the resistance and cardio might be okay. i will stick with the gym and real yoga.
I like your console choice! The Wii is way better than the others. Plus, all of those guys each have an XBox anyways..maybe 2. haha
haha, the wii is so fun! i usually get so intense that i throw my arm out during tennis and baseball. haha, we play guitar hero at our house. i just moved up a level, yay! you know your married when you start playing nintendo with your husband!
We love our Wii! (ha, I almost just spelled it "wee"...) Isaac and I have designated Wii nights. I agree with the poster above, I guess its just a married people thing! :)

Yay! Congrats on your purchase! Wii love ours too! They are coming out with some many fun things I love it. Dont know if you knew this but you can get old school mario bros for like 5 or 10 bucks through the system itself. Some many memories you can bring back from playing the best games ever!
