Kennedy and I spent the morning together and here is what we did...

We jumped on the bed,

Tried on all sorts of hats and watched "Mickey Mouse Club House,"

Smelled lots of pretty flowers,

So You Think You Can Dance?

Here are some of the girls at the viewing party.

We had a "So You Think You Can Dance" party with some of our friends. I love the show! I wish I had never stopped dancing. Our friend Shelly was on the show tonight. She is the one next to me in these pictures. Josh went to junior high and high school with her and we are on the same running team for the Wasatch Back relay. I can't wait to see the rest of the season. Maybe I'll start taking lessons again. Hmm.....

Our Weekend

These pictures are not in the correct order but here is what we did this weekend:

~We had Sunday dinner at Josh's parents' house~

Lauren really liked the dessert
I painted Abby and Kennedy's nails.

How beautiful is that red head?

On Saturday we went to Spoon Me (It's Utah's Pink Berry).

We also went for a drive up the canyon. It is so gorgeous and green right now.

On Friday night we hosted a dinner party with our friends. We do this often. We alternate houses and everyone takes tuns cooking. The food is always great and the company is as well. We went to the park after dinner to play with our massive frisbee. We also watched the Jazz/Laker game. There was a house full of disappointed men by the end of the night.

This is Carly, Brooke and me...

Josh, Dusty, Trace and Matt.

For dinner we had a spicy chipotle pork, apple and avocado salad, and coconut rice and beans.

Hot Headbands!

My sister-in-law Mari and I have been making headbands! Here are a few that I have made. You can view hers by clicking here. She has a couple different posts of headbands so to see them all just scroll down the page. I have never sewn before so this has been an experiment for me. I spent about two or three hours one day trying to figure out how to thread the bobbin on the sewing machine. That was an adventure and I'm glad it's over. Please excuse my appearance in these pictures. I just got back from a run, showered, didn't do my hair, and had no make up on. I'll take some pictures of other people wearing them with cute hair. Mari and I are hoping to sell these at boutiques and pretty much wherever else we can. Let me know if you want one!

Here are some bobby pins I made. They are super cute! I sell them for $3 a piece.

California Dreaming

We spent last week in California. We went down for my mom's bithday and Mother's Day. We had so much fun. We were able to go shopping in Santa Barbara, go to Americana at Brand, Hip Cooks, and the pool. It was so fun to see my family. I miss them so much. I hate that I live so far away from them. I love going home!

This is us in my parent's back yard.

We had a BBQ at the pool with Chris, Mari, Patrick and Luke

Crazy Patrick

Cute Luke

This is my cousin's baby, Jake. He is my new obsession. We are now dating. He makes me want a little boy so bad!

Shopping on State Street in SB.

I kicked Luke's butt at Guess Who.

Happy Birthday Rachel!

Happy birthday Rach! Today is also Josh's sister Rachel's birthday. We love Rachel. We always say that she is one of our favorite people ever...because she is! She is such a great mom, sister, wife and friend. Happy birthday Rachel Ann Jacobs.

Happy Birthday Mama!

Today is my cute mom's birthday. She is the best mom that I could have had growing up. She is smart, funny, understanding, stylish, beautiful and a great cook. I love you mom! We hope you had a great day.

Swing into Spring

Kennedy and me

Our nieces Rylie, Abby, and Lauren

Utah can't decide whether it wants to be warm or cold. It snowed May 1. Today it was so nice out. I can't stand the back and forth weather, you never know what it's going to be. We went to a park with Josh's family for dinner tonight. The little girls were as cute as ever. Kennedy loved to swing and go down the slide all by herself. She thought it was hilarious when Josh would grab her legs while she was swinging. She is so cute! She is getting a personality and is becoming quite an entertaining baby. We love her!
